Johan Vermij

Johan Vermij is an international experienced project manager with sound Prince2 certified mangement skills. As Global Project Manager TeamPark he has been responsible for the global implementation of Sogeti’s Collaboration Platform leading teams across continents and has been in charge of several communications and business development projects building propositions for Smart Mobile. His other projects include a variety of projects ranging from an agile Crowdsourcing project at a Dutch Ministry to intranet solutions in the Automotive industry.

As a manager his style is primarily coaching, motivating his team through creating commitment and take responsibility for the project result but is capable of switching styles if the project ask for a different approach. Johan is well aware of group dynamics and seeks to create teams with complimentary skills. In complex projects he has a keen eye for stakeholder management and risk assesment.

He is also a notorious Beta user of new social media projects and an apt presenter of new technology in branche specific context such as Augmented Reality for Education, Virtual Worlds for Insurance Companies, Mobile for Publishing and Social Collaboration for HR. As an early adaptor he is always looking for added business value and capable of creating sound business cases.
